Product Description

Water goes through a reverse osmosis membrane very slowly and people don't have the patience to wait a long time to get a cup of water. For this reason, the residential RO units need a water storage tank to store the filtered water. The RO tanks can deliver stable and constant water flow when the faucet is opened. The concern that pollutants might come from air or animals with the use of an open tank favors the use of a closed expansion tank. Lead leaching into drinking water causes health risk; brass and copper are banned from being used in filtered/drinking water. This tank uses stainless steel connections to avoid lead leaching concerns. It is tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI Standard.

Alway seemed to need lots of water all at once, coffee pot, dog dishes, ice cubes trays and the 3 gallon tank just wasnt cutting it. After reading the reviews on this 20 gallon tank thought I would give it a try. Bought this tank and ball valve/nipple(iSpring 3/8" Stainless Ball Valve + Nipple for Reverse Osmosis Water tank). Although the valve/nipple was a little pricey it made installation a breeze. Unit came recharged at 7-10 pounds of air so I didnt even have to fiddle with the tank pressure. Had this up a running for over two months and havent run out of drinking water yet. I wouldnt say it holds a whole 20 gallons but it sure meets my needs.
