When i received the iSpring the box was not missing anything and had extra parts. I watched the YouTube video once and decided that the install would be fairly easy. I didnt want the unit under my sink so I installed it in the basement. The install was straight forward after watching the YouTube video. I mounted mine to a cement wall and place the tank on the floor in the basement. After approx. 1 1/4 hour installation i ran water through all the filters with the tank valve off, then filled the tank approx 2 1/4 hours. I flushed the tank then refilled the system and tested the water, it is 16ppm currently. I expect that to decrease after some use. I purchase the ice maker kit and hooked the ice maker to it also. I purchased and extra inline shut off value and placed it under the sink in case the faucet leaked. The paper instruction are not as good as the video just pay attention to how the filters are to be attached and you will be fine. Make sure all fitting are tight before starting the install and it will save time later if a leak does occur, which will most likely be from a lose fitting.
