i was not looking forward to this cartridge replacement task, probably because my plumbing projects seldom go smoothly. However, the replacement was fairly easy and the system was up and running again in less than two hours. A couple of things to look out for: turn off the valve from the water supply and turn off the valve on top of the RO tank. Secondly, the instructions have a misleading --- I think erroneous --- statement, telling you to turn the plastic cartridge case to the right to loosen. Nope, you turn it to the left. After I realized that, things got a lot better. Thirdly, remember to flush the system out, to get rid of carbon particles, after the new cartridges are installed. That means that you disconnect the white tube from the right end of the membrane cartridge, get a bucket ready and turn on the water supply valve. Flushing only took a couple of minutes, then reconnect the white tube.
