This system is awesome. My wife was complaining if the $15/mo. cost of the zero water filters (we bought them from Target; they work great by the way) and started buying 6-packs of 1 gallon jugs from Costco. I got tired of recycling all that plastic so I spent a month researching these systems vs. the whole house carbon filter and decided on this. I have to say we havent been happier... 10 ppm on our water from almost 200 ppm from the tap in California. I did have to drill through our granite countertop and was a bit nervous. I bought one from another reviewer post on this system (diamond tipped, 3/8") and watched a YouTube video on how to do it. Made a circle with rolled out plumbers putty to create a dam around it filled water. Took ~10 min. But worked great. I would buy the one like we did with the re-mineral stage filter. Overall, we love this. Dont how long the filters will last but so far, so good on the testing of the water. I would recommend buying an HM digital TDS-4 tester (~$20 on Amazon) and test your water every month after 6 months.

I really like the Reverse Osmosis System that was purchased from iSpring water system. The system was very reasonably priced and all in all a great system. I would definitely recommend this system for anyone looking for a reasonable reverse osmosis systems for the home. I did at a later date purchase an alkaline filter and place it into the system as well. I have has the system for about 4 years now and it is working without any problems.

For the price the iSpring R/O system is unbeatable. The water tastes great. Customer service responded promptly with my questions and called me directly to the number I left. You need some DIY self skills but overall the installation was not hard, but it took me 45-60 minutes because I had to make sure that all fittings were tight and I also labeled the in/out just for future references, steps that most people wont do or not required to get the system up and running. The manual is clear and upon my purchase, the seller emailed me a youtube link that shows how to install it. I really enjoyed it. The taste of water is really good and we love this filter!
