I love this filter, my wife and I use it every day. It makes the best tasting coffee and tea. The only thing I would have to complain about is the plastic fitting that attaches the water spout to the sink, it really needs to be steel, other than that, the quality of this product is outstanding. I have had mine for 3 years now, and have used it everyday since. Amazing product.

I have only had this a few days so my review will be updated if things change but so far so good...Install was easy. It took 2 hours total (from box opening to having running water). I did watch a video and then read the directions. All were easy to understand. This is not a difficult project. If you can build a piece of walmart furniture you can easily do this. The only tool I need was an drill/screwdriver which most people should have.The unit itself was very easy to put together. The hardest part of the whole thing was getting under the sink to connect the faucet to the counter. Oh and a tip about that, if you are drilling through granite, I would highly suggest you hire someone to drill through it. I actually am using this unit in my laundry room sink rather than my kitchen because after doing some research I just didnt want to take the chance and drill through granite. Even professionals say they get nervous every time they do it.As far as the directions, it said to let one full tank drain. After doing research online it says to let 3 full tanks drain. 3 full tanks is what I did because even on the 3rd tank my water TDS and turbitity was higher than normal. On the 4th tank its perfect with a TDS around 10-15 down from 85 (and obviously Im adding back some with this unit). So I would definitely go with 3 tanks any time you change that RO membrane.When I first turned on the water there were a few leaks. These were all due to me not putting the tubes all the way in. Once readjusted there were no leaks.As far as the parts - they give you tons of extras. Everything fit my faucet just fine. No need to extra pieces or anything.Also, when you first turn on expect black and white water. This is normal. It goes away. This happens with all of my whole house filters too. You need to let the water run for a few minutes to get that stuff cleared out.
