When I opened the box my first reaction was to thank Steve Jobs and Apple for setting the bar for what constitutes true quality in packaging: heavy boxes, perfectly sized, LABELED, divided as needed. Simple, straightforward instructions complete with the useful suggestion to watch a youtube presentation first. As a result my installation went easily, without drama or leaks. The quality of the faucet is superior! Finally, - we love the water! iSpring RCC7AK 6-Stage Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filtration System with Alkaline Remineralization Filter - 75 GPD

I was very happy with this product because I have a kid and the city we live in uses fluoride in the water. Installation and water flow process went great and easy for my husband, for those who care about the setup all you need to do is read the instructions given or youtube. We had a bit problem with the alkaline unit, the company has a great customer service they got back to us and was able to solve the issue and the greatest part of the customer service is I had to deal with the same person not too many people ( reexplain everything everytime youre forwarded to another person).

I had my doubts about any water purifying system after reading about the water quality where I live, in Lubbock TX. Lubbock has frequently been named the worst in the country in water quality. It is salty water, which is understandable since it comes from underground caves, namely, the Ogallala aquifer and condenses with the minerals found in the ground. The water hardness from the tap is 500 to 800 ppm. Anything over 200 ppms is considered hard water. The EPA states that anything over 500 ppms is unhealthy. After one year of use of daily water consumption for two people and 4 house plants, the RO now puts out 48 ppm water. The Lubbock input water measures 528 ppms. Name brand bottled water measures about 50 ppms. The numbers have spoken for the effectiveness of the iSpring RCC7AK at purifying the worst water in the country!I recommend this product for its effectiveness at purifying water, it eco-friendly environmental footprint (as compared to plastic bottles) and it is much cheaper than buying bottled water when considered over time. The iSpring RCC7AK

Bought the ISpring RCC7AK RO system (after a ridiculous amount of research) because our water has a strong muddy taste, supposedly from algae in our citys reservoirs, that cannot be removed by your standard activated charcoal filters. I went with the AK model because the RO process removes absolutely everything from the water, even essential minerals that your body needs. The installation took me about 2 or 3 hours and Im a plumber so someone with less experience, it may take longer, especially since the instructions are not that helpful. I installed it in the unfinished portion of our basement because I dont trust those quick connect fittings it comes with and good thing I did because I had the O-ring for the RO filter in the wrong place and it leaked several gallons of water on the floor within just a couple hours. The water pressure is low being in the basement but it is worth it to not have to worry about water damage. iSprings customer service is really great, even though I installed something wrong and tore the O-ring, they sent me a replacement part. I would recommend reading the installation instructions very thoroughly and watching their YouTube video for your model to avoid serious water damage to your home. Also make sure and run plenty of water through the system before you start drinking it, it wastes a ton of water (at first to fill the tank and saturate the filters) 1:3 seems to be an accurate potable to waste water ratio. The water quality seems to be best when the system is used often, if you go a day without using it your water will have a plastic taste to it, if this happens, I run about a half gallon of water to get it tasting clean again. I still doubt the longevity of the PEX piping and the quick connect fittings, especially on the RO membrane filter housing since you have to disconnect it to change the membrane. Only had the system running about 3 weeks now but once we got over the installation hurdles, no more problems! So far seems like a worthwhile investment, saves a few cents per gallon over buying water, even with the cost of filter replacements.

This system makes our water taste amazing! I was a bit skeptical at first since my wife is so used to drinking and buying bottled water, but this has been a game changer. The install was fairly straightforward (and would have been faster if I had everything lined up and laid out before I started). Instructions are very clear on how to set up and start up the system. We also got the fridge/ice maker attachment so the RO water runs to our fridge as well. My advice if you are on the fence is to get this system. We used to spend $10-15 a week in bottled water jugs and it took up space on the counter or in the fridge but no more!!! This system will pay for itself in no time if youre used to buying bottled water. Highly recommend.

I find more information about reintroducing minerals include calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium that what the sellers described for everyday life needs whereas other don’t have it. Also, I can see it gets dirtier every day from white roll to brownish just one month on stage 1 after install. This is the recent model to invent adding minerals. I installed Watts Primer back in 2003. It’s time to seek a new brand that I google and find iSpring. My 13 years old son helped to install iSpring with your simple instruction because I want him to learn how to become handyman in his future. Great job on his first installment. Taste water is supposed to be good and I should gladly to find that iSpring with minerals including.

Installation was a breeze. Clear instructions made it an easy install. Water looks and tastes great. Weve been using it for a few months now and had no issues at all. Love that we can feel confident in the water were drinking! My only regret is not purchasing it sooner.
